Question How do I get wirelessconnection?


My f12 ledlamp on my laptop has gone red. I have done same procedur that I did in windows with my wirelessrouter.

I think you need to tell us what distro you’re using, the brand of your laptop, what procedure you’ve done....

And what an "f12 ledlamp" means on your computer.

Also, what is the wireless chipset? The command lspci, issued in a terminal, should provide that information.

Try this first:
Code:
rfkill -o soft
rfkill -o hard
rkill --output-all
Furthermore find out the name of the device:

iw dev
check it against info in
Code:
ifconfig
is it there?
