Unhappy How do I get the programs to run on wine?

I think I installed it ok becuase my autorun grames worked perfectly. Although I can't install quicktime 3.0 and above for some reason. Anyways, I need to know how to acces programs since their is no start button or "windows explorer" to access them. Can anyone give advice.

Assuming you have a windows parition with programs:

[In X] Browse to the folder containing the program, eg [cd /mnt/win98/windows/]
then run wine, and pass the program as a parameter, eg [wine notepad.exe]

remember to adapt your ~/.wine/config file, as windows programs have to be on drives which wine has a letter asigned to.
