how do I get screen shot of disk from Windows?

Hello folks!

Flame away if you want, I can take it! But, I'm trying to help someone with their ubuntu installation and I requested that they post a screen shot of their HD from the XP disk manager.

Is this possible? Can you get screen shots using XP? If I were to pull up the disk manager from the XP desktop (cant remember how to get there. been so long since I used windowze!), could I take a screen shot of it? How?

Alt+PrintScreen will save a copy of the active window to the clipboard, just paste that into some sort of graphics app and save it.

Hey Randall6564
There is a way to do it.
You will have to do something like this:
1 Right-click My Computer (either on desktop or start menu)
2 Select Manage
3 Select disk management
4 work form there with normal screen shot instructions (i.e Ctrl+PrintScreen, or Alt PrintScreen - whichever captures the active window - cant remember!)

Hope that helps!
FYI- I work in internet tech support, and have had countless experiences with XP at home for my family PC, hence my knowledge.......
