How do I FTP enable a website?
Hi,
I just set up a new server -- running Scientific Linux and Apache 2.0. I would like to FTP enable the default server so I can FTP into it.
How do I do this?

FTP server is already running
Hi,
FTP server -- vsftpd -- is already installed and running. I was asking about configuring the system so that I can FTP into the directory reserved for the web site. I don't know how to do that.

that would be a case of setting an ftp root, possible setting up a chroot jail for the directory you want. otherwise, just change directory yourself.
and how do we know what kind of answer you want if you don't tell us? we're not psychic.
