How do I find what directory is on what partition?

This has got to be so simple, but I just can't figure it out.

Say that I have a drive that has three partitions... hda1, hda2 and had3. how would I list what directories are on what partitions? How would I find out of /opt is on hda2 or had3? Thanks for the help!

Hello,

You can begin with 'mount' or look at the '/etc/fstab'
