how do I delete a revision in cvs


not the whole file, just a specific revision? Is this possible? Thanks!

Once you commit something into CVS - it is ideal to let it remains there.
You can always checkin a new version of the code and thereby the one present in the CVS repository becomes the older version and the one you just checked in becomes the current version.


Other than that - I really doubt whether a CVS delete is possible.

Suppose you were to:

1.delete revision 1.2
2.edit revision 1.1
3.commit changes
4.The revision number now is 1.2 correct?
