How do I create a new .scr script in KNOPPIX

Really I am a newbie to KNOPPIX/Linux I need to understand how to start a new file or what to open and what to click in KNOPPIX.

I need to Create a file in my week 5 directory called mollett.scr that contains a script that will remove all the files I submitted in earlier assignments.

I guess I need to use
rm -i $p/week$num/$LName*
