How do I change which ftp server is used in Mandrake Update

mandrake 10.0

how can i change which ftp server is used when using Mandrake Update? because the first time i used it, it asked me to select a server so i just picked the first one on the list. i've never had success with this feature. every time it just errors, errrors errors errors, nothing works with this OS.

If you whish to change the server in the mandrake package management goto System >> Configureation > Packaging > software media manager. Select updates and hit remove . Now when you use update it will give the same list as the first time you used update.
i find it better to update via urpmi in console mode todo this you will need to configure your sources go here And follow the instructions.

i went to that site and i went through the steps and it gave me a command to use. i typed it in and it said 'urpmi database locked'

i'm stuck
