How do i change to high color
 
Thanx to all who helped me with my nic. I had to swap it out. now how do i change the amount of colors? I know how to change the resolution but the amount of colors stay the same i want to set it to high colors. How do I go about that.

You can edit your XF86Config and under the screens section you will find your default depth there where you can update accordingly.

in your /etc/X11/XF86Config file....

Ok I did that but then it couldn't start x windows reloaded and set aas i reloaded it.
