How do i change logon password on opensuse Leap 42.3.0 64 bit?

Just enter the command passwd on the command line, you then have to input your old password then your new one. This also works on Mac as well since it's a feature from UNIX. If you want to change root password you would put sudo infront of thge command and you should be able to do sudo -u "Username" passwd to change another users password if you need to.
