How do I change Host Name

I unfortunately messed up with the host name during install and need to change it. I am using a static ip address. Wondering where all I need to make changes, etc.

I'm running Mandrake 10.1 using KDE.

Edit /etc/hosts

I changed the etc/hosts file, started a new x session and it still reads the old host name.

is there something else I need to change?

Try rebooting.
