How do I alter folder access permissions-Suse 9.1?
 

I'm trying to setup Wine, but its basically telling me I need root access to move a folder. I've had a look at Wine-related posts over the past few days, but none that I've seen exactly cover this.

try chmod 777 . if you r inside the dir

if you r outside, just say chmod 777 <dirname>

(I don't know yet how i give access to certain groups, and how I assign a folder to a group)
