How do I add Program


Hi guys,

anybody knows how do I add programs in redhat, because I forgot to install the Apache in I want to add it on my redhat without reinstalling the System again. ..

you can install off the installation disk... doesn't have a add/remove programs like in windows... if that is what your looking for.. you can easily just download it too...

what I really mean is how can i access again my CD-ROM installer of RedHat 7.1 and add a package, like for instance I forgot to install the pine package.

Hi
Put the CD in the drive when the machine is running, it should auto mount. You should be able to right click on a package, and there will be an open option, this auto installs using RPM. Alternatively, start up gnoRPM and it will look up the packages on the CD and give you a nice big list to choose from.
