Question How do disconnect Idle users??

There's several people that dial into my pc RH7.2 USRobotics 56k modem. However, sometimes people stay connected and just idle there. Is there any way i can disconnect them if say they idle for more than 5 minutes? Or check to see if there's any data being transfered so i can disconnect them and reset the uugetty? Thanks for any tips.
