How could i remove the trash icon in KDE(I HAVE TWO)
I do not know why i have two icons of trash(since at beginning i have only one)
And also:How could i add the icons of rpm in my KDE desktop,such as ACROBAT and XINE

have you tried right clicking and selecting remove or delete.. also to add, you can usually add them in your user's /home/desktop directory..

i think kde's user directory, is, rudely enough, ~/.desktop. just remve the link file in that directory

This is what I do:
Create a directory in /home called trash1
Go to the KGear/Applauncher>preferences>look and feel>desktop>paths and change the trash path to /home/trash1
The icon will disappear from the desktop automatically and you'll retain the r-click>"Move toTrash" functionality without the annoying Trash icon.
Now someone tell me how you do this for Gnome
