How could I install Ubuntu Desktop 8.0.42
How could I install Ubuntu Desktop 8.0.42 on a system with 2 partitions, where Windows XP is installed on the fisrt partition. I mentioned that the partition are equal of 80 Gb each. At the first attempt to install I receive in partition menu from installation the following message: "could not locate root".
I cancel the installation leaving the partition as it is (NTFS formatting).
what is the next step? thanks for the answer!
