How can i check if aquasim is correctly installed or not in ubuntu 12.04.

I want to know where to check for errors in aquasim 1.0 in ubuntu 12.04 if segmentation fault occur.
I mean is it in tcl script or in backend c++ code.

I want to know that do we require ns-aqua to run underwater simulation/tcl script or ns is sufficient.
If ns-aqua is required then from where do i download it?
