how can recover system after update from current?

Hi all,
updated my slackware 14.1 from current. After update forgot slackpkg clean-system. After restart the system is messed - cant start xwindow. So choosed a new mirror to update (not from current list) and now cannot update system. Type slackpkg update gpg
slackpkg update , and this enters with error : verification of the gpg on the checksum.md
When type slackpkg install-new or slackpkg upgrade-all and slackpkg clean-system it pops a message like i need gpg key. So how can i and how can recover the system or it is better to reinstall :)
Thank you in advans

If you can boot to the command line, then you should be able to recover.
Check your /etc/slackpkg/mirrors file to ensure that you are pointing to an appropriate mirror for the version and architecture (32bit or 64bit) that you want. The upgrade has likely installed a new mirrors file that needs to edited.
Then try 'slackpkg update gpg' again. If it still fails, I would manually download and reinstall the slackpkg package.
For further details, see http://docs.slackware.com/slackware:slackpkg
Note the steps shown for a full system upgrade.

PS - This thread would be better in the Slackware forum.
