How can I set up my SH shell

I want to set up my shell that has a dock icon on my desktop that everytime I'll click it, it will launch as many shell as I want. What I have right now is a kterm shell dock icon but it only launches the shell once. Can anyone help me?

What distribution?
In Ubuntu, a new terminal window opens every time I click on the icon. Pretty sure that RHEL4 does also.

the dock icon for my shell can launch a shell only once. how can i set the dock icon so that i can launch multiple shells using the same dock icon? im using vine linux right now.
