Red face How can I remotely access CVS server from client on LINUX?


Pls, any one tell me that how can remotely access the linux server by using cvs tool through client.... and also locally????????????

Use the cvs client?
Check out the man page or some tutorial on the net for it.

Sample command from OpenBSD:

cvs -d anoncvs@anoncvs.ca.openbsd.org:/cvs get src/sys/arch/sparc

There are several good CVS tutorials (even a book) on the net. Search on google.

If you need to access repository in CVS Server from windows client, install client software from http://wincvs.org/

Does anyone know how i can install CVS in a Linux host ? I want a Command Line version of a CVS Client. not a GUI version.
