How can I prevent browsing windows network from a Fedora 6 box?

What is a quick and easy way to prevent a Fedora 6 box, from being able to browse the windows network/access windows shares?

remove the samba client on the workstation side

I ran
yum remove samba-client
And I can still access windows file shares. What am I missing?
