Exclamation How can I port Linux to my Media Player?


I would like to know if I could install Linux on my Media Player Device since it can be Updated with Firmware. All help is welcome (and needed). Thanks

it might be possible, but what is the media device ...
just knowing the name and model and doing some searching might yield some results ..

Its a RipGo! and they stop makind updates for it. There is no more support for this device.

Doubtfull... You would need to know the microprocessor type, I/O mapping etc. Not an easy task.

Yea Thats it. All I need are some instructions on what to do and I'll give it my best. Im good with electronics so hopefully this wont be to impossible.
