How can I make my own live-cd ?

Hi, I am new in linux. So far I had learnd about the basic syntax in Linux. In the next three months, me and my friends want to try to make our own live-cd, like slackware, debian, etc.

If anyone can help, please tell me what can I do for the first time to make my own live-cd ?

Thanx before for all your help!! :)

OK thanks, i have download the script. I found it on slax.linux-live.org. But how can i use this script to make my own version of linux.

A friend of mine told me to re-compile the kernell, do I have to do that in the early step??

Thanks.

If you want to make your own distro, you *PROBABLY* do not need a live-cd to do that. I think it's better to take someone else's distro(i suggest slackware because it's programs don't come modified and patched, so it's very customizable) and modify it somehow.

Sorry if this disappointed you.
