How can i install a dedicated server??
 

I did install the dedicated server and it never showed up in the server list i could join it but my friens couldnt' can u guys tell me how to do it??i'd be appreciate if u guys helped me out thanks a lot...

More info link Distro, version, kernel, and anything else that would help?

What kind of service are you trying to get congiured? http, smtp, nfs, samba, telnet, ftp, ssh, many others?
Server is a vey generic term.
Where will it be? home on a broadband line behind a router?
Or will it act as a router/firewall?
Just need to be more specfic on what your needs will be.

I just want to make a server from my house...just a computer and i really can't make it i don't know why?....

The fact that you can join it suggest the service is working fine, instead there's something preventing users connecting to the machine.

Presumably you are behind some sort of gateway like a router

Your gateway will retain a WAN IP from your ISP and your machines behind it will have a LAN IP. So you will need something that says when someone connects to your WAN IP, they need to be passed onto a LAN machine on a port, this can typically be done by using either NAT or port forwarding, either of which should be configurable through your router.

Never setup a game server so not much help here.

Looks like you have the game server setup but it is not visible to the outside since the router is blocking the port. Read up on the server port requirements that need to be opened to the outside and then read up on the router and see what it takes to port forward those ports from the outside wan IP to the game server lan IP/port. Many post on setting up portforwarding on store bought routers if this is what it is. Most routers differ on how to do it but generic in structure when complete.

Every brand of router configuration differs so one needs more info on the brand and model. Check the manufactors website for FAQ help. Contact them if no luck. Or contact a local computer store and see if they can configure this for you.

What router do you have? it can't be that difficult, it'll be written on it somewhere.

Dont'get the wrong idea if i know how to do it i'll do it...and i know nothing about those things and i have broadban router..
