To get some help you need to explain your question more fully.
Are you after software installation command lines? Can you give a more rounded explanation of what you are trying to achieve? |

Just to make sure I'm clear, you want to be able to scroll up to see all the history displayed in the terminal.
Some terminal programs, such as gnone-terminal and Konsole, include a configurable item in the preferences for the number of lines of history you want to keep visible. Commonly, the default setting is "500" (I think). You could try increasing that (I commonly set it to 1500). Which terminal program are you using? That bit of knowledge would help. You mean you want unlimited scrollback in your terminal? Most terminal emulators have this option if you go to settings.
If you tell us what Linux distribution, what desktop environment, and what terminal emulator you use (xterm, konsole, gnome-terminal, etc), we can provide more information. |
I using ubuntu guest on virtual box
window7 is host using default terminal |
Open a terminal and go to Edit > Profile > In next window, open Scroling tab and select unlimited check box.
Hope this will help. |
