How can I fix this error?

I've run into this error a few times and it is hindering me from using a couple of software programs. I don't know what it means or how to fix it.
Does anybody know about this error?

E: openbsd-inetd: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1

Hi
Dont mean to be rude, Can you tell us abit more about the error? such as how you get and when you get and stuff as well as what OS you are using. also did you try to search your error message on google. there might be someone , who run into same problem.

sorry about the lack of info.
Running Debian Etch on an AMD processor. I've been trying to burn an ISO image with K3b so that I can try out Xandros, (I've downloaded the ISO file)
unfortunately K3b will not work for me with Etch (so far) although I've been able to get it to work flawlessly on previous distros I've tried. When I try to use Synaptec to upgrade (or reinstall) K3b, I run into this error: E: openbsd-inetd: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1

I don't know how else to burn the ISO image. perhaps there is another program available in the Debian Package vault that I am not aware of.

Have you checked through /var to find any error logs. Also look for a program called cdroast. I believe that will burn iso's also.

This looks like it's a Debian problem.....as this error message is happening every time I try to download a package from Synaptic Package Manager.
Therefore I should probably continue my querry in the Debian Forum

Thanks for your help
