If you installed the module with RPM manager, you can do this:

rpm -qa|grep -i PACKAGE_NAME (where "PACKAGE_NAME" is part of the
name of your package, e.g. "x11" or "gcc").

Most applications (GUI or not) also support a "-v" (print version) command line option. You can usually safely try any/all of these from the command line:

MYPROGRAM -version
... or ...
MYPROGRAM -h (for "help": print all program options)

'Hope that helps .. pSM

modinfo some_name_of_loaded_kernel_module_ornotloaded
or modeinfo

Maybe that what you are after

To have a list of loaded modules type lsmod (as root)
