How can I deinstall software on Kubuntu 5.10
 

How can I deinstal software (limewire) on Kubuntu 5.10 is there any way to do this with the apt-get manager, or any other software with GUI. And is it neccesary to do this in the terminal, (I hate the terminal)

you can click a bunch of buttons to get yourself into synaptic and uninstall it from there or type apt-get remove limewire from the dreaded terminal

ok i didn't want to start a new thread for this newbe stuff,

bu if we are talking slackware or DSL, and we compiled the program ourselfs, how to deinstall or remove it then ??

i dont have a clou, i already tryed "apt-get remove" and "make deinstall" but for some reason it doesn't do anything.
