How can I create a user with the same privileges as the root ?
I don't want to bother setting permisions to each folder for the new user. Also is it possible to create a sort of roots group (kind of like the administrators group on Windows 2000) ?

it already exists, its called 'root'. root user is a member or root group, see?
you just need to add a user to that group.
but you should not really do it. sudo is much simpler. and safer.
