Question How can I connect local area network in linux


hi
My computer is in a local area network,and I using fedora8 now.
But sometimes i need some resource what shared by other computers in the local net,and some of them use WINDOWS.
So,how can I do?some command ?

You need to use samba. Usually you can use your file manager to search for network shares, or if you know thier address/computer name, you can just enter it.
