Question ? how can i bridge wlan0 to eth0,

What i am hoping to do is to get a small (no gui 'or run level 3?') distro of linux, and the LAPTOP will be a DEDICATED device to act like a "virtual ethernet cable" so that i can plug my security camera DVR (wich has no wifi card) into my linux laptop and its sole purpose (the laptop) is to route all incoming and outgoing eth0 packets from DVR across the wlan0 on the laptop

I hope that was not too confusing, all i really need as a good link to some tutorial. or even your advice
(the question title may be wrong, maybe its not as simple as bridging connections? thats why i asked)
-thanks

It sounds as if you want to use this box to route incoming on eth0 to outgoing on eth1 (or wlan0, depending on how a particular distro does it).

This article might help: http://www.yolinux.com/TUTORIALS/Lin...tml#FORWARDING
