How can I access memory card of NOKIA 3110C in UBUNTU 9.04 ?


I want to access (Copy,paste different files from my PC ) my phone's (NOKIA 3110C) memory card (micro sd) from ubuntu 9.04.

Though it is possible in windows XP using Nokia PC suite but I am unable to access in ubuntu

Is there any way to access the card in UBUNTU 9.04?

Pls help.

How are you connecting the phone? When you put in the usb cable and attach to your phone, you should get a list of options. Choose "Mass Storage mode" (or something like that - can't remember exactly). That will let you access the memory card. I can easily do this for my Nokia N73.

I have choosen USB mode for connecting my phone but I cannot find memory card or phone icon on my desktop or in places menu.

What is the list of modes shown on your nokia when you connect it to the laptop? I remember seeing atleast 3 in my case.

1.nokia mode
2.data & storage mode
3.usb mode
