How a add a shortcut to "startmenu"


i recently installed the new version of Openoffice 1.1.2 for some display problem whit 1.1.1, after i installed Ooo 1.1.2 the old shortcuts of Ooo seemed dead, and i removed them, how can i add back new shortcut to the "start menu"

i'm using FC2 with gnome

did you do a net install of OO? if so, you'll then need to run /OO_install_path/setup logged in as your user to install the files needed to run OO for you user. you may just need to log out and log back in, also (try this first).
