That´s all;... I need 2 install a lib contained into an rpm but not the other ones (packages) ´cause of conflicts

I got the rpm
Ex. libx.12.243245.i586.rpm (this is just a box)
if I would open the box I would find:
etc/lib/lib.2.so.344656
/etc/lib/lib.so.x
etc/lib/lib.3.so.5634366
usr/share/docs/cdrp.1.1.7.txt
/etc/apps/icons/image1.jpg
/etc/src/jcc.3.3.5
/directory/etc.12.3.4
/directory/etc.16.5.14
and so on,
...but wat if I just need ---lib.so.x---, but The archive /etc/src/jcc.3.3.5 causes conflicts with other installed programs?
that´s what I mean, how 2 unpackage the filoes contained in an RPM to use´em as I wish ---i.e. RPM and .tar are the same thing---
