Hotmail Trouble
Hi,
I am using Fedora Core1
I can't access my hotmail account with the linux box
Hotmail.com opens alright but when i type in my username and password it says
loginnet.passport.com could not be found. Please check the name and try again
I connect to the internet through a proxy server and i know for sure that hotmail.com
has not been blocked by the server as i can access my hotmail account through a windows
box.
The problem only occurs while signing in to hotmail through a linux box
Also
contrib.redhat.com could not be found. Please check the name and try again
It's only a class of sites that don't open
Many of the times its when i try to download from certain sites like rpmfind.net

Which web broswer are you using?
Try it with Mozilla or Firefox and see if it works.
