I want to get my hotmail account mails from linux server. Although I found Ximin Evolution in my ditribution i.e Redhat 9 ,but it does not support hotmail , like outlook.

Read this:

http://savannah.nongnu.org/files/?group=gotmail

This PERL script is able to fetch the mail from hotmail and insert it back into your MTA

Hope this helps,

To download your hotmail as if it's pop3, you could also use hoywayd; http://hotwayd.sourceforge.net/ That site also provides links to projects that have accomplished the same for Microsoft Windows.

Right now, my computer downloads all messages from hotmail.com every hour as if it's POP3. Since I run my own IMAP+squirllmail I don't need to worry about that 2MB limit

You're both welcome thanks a lot.

Just consider the fact we're all using hotmail like it's a pop3 box Isn't hotmail the cheapest pop3 box you could find? messages "removed from the server" even show up in the trash can
