But isn't the default Add/Remove program in Ubuntu easy-to-use already?

Lightbulb Smallest Linux Distro?

I have decided to make my Linux OS small, and thus have decided to NOT base if off of Ubuntu. Is DSL the smallest Linux distro out there? If not, what is? What improvements would you guys like to see done on these "lightweight" distros? I personally would like to make an OS which is 100 mb in size but is just as functional (meaning it has a packaging system) as Ubuntu but only having the most necessary applications (office suite, windowing system, play mp3s). Beware, I really haven't fully collected my thoughts on this.
