Exclamation honeyd


How to install honeyd on opensuse. I cant find a package using YaST2, I cant install arpd either, I get dependency conflicts with dnet.

Building "farpd"

( The farpd patch is basically an ' arpd.c ' editing.)

Building "honeyd" : Probably the same as with Slackware.

Hi,

Thanks for quick reply. I tried arpd before but it didnt work out. I have a conflict with libdnet devel. Tried everything I could but it wont go thru. There are rpm packages for it but they dont show up in YaST (YeAST)2.

What do you mean by conflict ?
If you build a new *arpd from source,
how can it then make conflict ?

Which version of Suse are you using ?

I am running suse 11.2 kde 64 bit. managed to build the package, installed it but cant configure it. i am not on suse atm and cant get you terminal output. have done this in freebsd, i guess i didnt give a right path. will be back tomorrow with more details.

Wow it appears the build team put that together http://software.opensuse.org/search?...ude_debug=true

The issue was related to new gcc and dated package. Let me try and I get back.
