Angry HLDS binary execute problems on RH 7.3


I'm trying to install the latest Linux Half-Life server on a 7.3 RH box, I cannot find anywhere the .tar.gz alluded to in any install directions, so I download hlds_l_3100.bin instead, once downloaded, I try to sh hlds_l_3110.bin and get the message, ":cannot execute binary"

what gives? am I dong somewthing wrong? I've tried downloading several files from several sources and get the same error

please email me direct if anyone has any advice:
