History of what? Audit logs? shell (and which one?)? accounting? security?

You still haven't identified what. Command? database transaction? file deletion? file access? shell? Which shell?... Daemon? boot?

So are we playing 20 questions here??? Now we'll ask "what KIND of database and what file(s) for what users, on what version of Solaris???"

Read the "Question Guidelines" link in my posting signature...ask clear questions and provide details, or we can't help you. You can check individual users history in the .bash_history file, only IF they're using the bash shell, Database? Going to depend on the database and what's enabled/disabled/IF it can even be done.

SunOS?

That thing went out of date around 1991. You really need a new system.

I don't think anyone can help you with that one. Specially with database problems.
