Highpoint 374 and Debian install

Hi
I am attempting to install Debian (Woody) 3.0r2.

M/B Abit AT7-MAX2 (Highpoint 374 RAID controller embedded)
HDD Seagate SATA 160 GB

I get the message "No hard disk drives were detected. You need to load special drivers from a floppy, ... "

Then the message " Now please insert the floppy in /dev/fd0.
All modules that you want must reside in the boot directory of your floppy disk. At this time, the process cannot determine any dependencies. ... "

I would be grateful if some kind person can point me in the right direction. I am not sure what I should be looking for.

Many thanks in antcipation.
