hi friends

i m using rhel5 on sata when i boot the system i got the erorr
probing ide interface ide0,1 after 5 min the system will start slowly then i got another error rebuild /boot/initrd-2.6.18-1.2747.el5kdum.img
after redhat was not booting it showing just process

pls help me to solve this problem.

There doesn't seem to be much google information on your problem. This site:

Suggests that booting with the installation CD may help, as may switching the bootloader from grub to lilo.

Since Centos is supposedly 100% binary compatible with rhel.

You should change the subject header to more accurately describe your problem, something like,

"rhel5 hangs on boot, rebuild kernel error"
