Hex String to ttysX

Hi!

How would i send a hex string to a serial port(ttys0) using shell script?
The string I`m trying to send looks like this: 80 01 04 00 2A 7C
I`ve tried to use Echo but to no avail.

man echo

The answer is -e -n (the man pages are always so negative).
