I'm new to linux..
i'm using fedora 8 (64 bit)
i want to configure NIS in my system
i installed ypserver and yptool
i want to know how to install portmap and how to configure

Hi, welcome to LQ!

Please use descriptive titles. And do your homework. And ask the smart questions.

Anyway, you can start your way from the NIS Howto which also have a little info about portmapper. There are other good resources which you could usually find on LQ and Internet by searching. Good luck.
