help with ubuntu and Netgear wg111t


I have installed ndisgtk and all the other packages included on the dvd however when I use the windows wireless driver application to install the wg111t.inf file nothing appears in the white section of the program

hi, did you run ndisgtk as root? (sudo ndisgtk)
If yes, try installing via the console : "sudo ndiswrapper -i wg111g.inf" if it still doesn't work, post the output here...
Another problem might be that you're installing from a directory where only the .inf file is present, many drivers also need the accompanying .cab files.

Thanks for the speedy reply, when i run "sudo ndiswrapper -i wg111g.inf" i get the message "sudo: ndiswrapper: command not found"

As a side note, when i tried to run make for the tar file of ndiswrapper 1.53 i got the message: "Cannot find kernel version..." etc etc

j.todd, when I run the make command for ndiswrapper 1.53 while following your howto I get the long error:

O.K. I was able to sort out that problem by installing ndiswrapper 1.48 instead of 1.53 and now my internet works (i sent this message in ubuntu )
