Help with stateful firewall rules

Hello,

I need help on how to set up a stateful iptable firewall rule for the following security policy....

Computers with interfaces on 10.20.0.0/16 can ping and traceroute to any computer.

What's the current rule-set? Any answer will depend on the existing policies.

#iptables -I INPUT -s 10.20.0.0/16 -p icmp -j ACCEPT

@@@ for OUTBOUND ICMP PACKATES @@@
#iptables -I OUTPUT -s 10.20.0.0/16 -p icmp -j ACCEPT

#service iptables save; service iptables restart
