help with Squid
 

Hello everyone,

I am rather in to using Squid and I have recantly have a problem with the squid proxy server at work, it has stopped itself and eveytime a press 'start squid' it fails to start, but there are no error codes it just go back to the central page.

hopefully I have put this question in the right place.

Check the squid logs. Squid won't run if its log files are bigger than 2GB.

Thanks tsg, sorry for such a n00b question. I found the log and cleared it and it has started to work agian.

It's not a n00b question at all. When it happened to me it took hours to find out why.
