Question Help with running a program at boot

Every time I start Slackware 9.1, I have to run 'dhcpcd' to get (for lack of a
better term) Internet up and running. I know I have to make some sort of
change to etc/rc.d/rc.M, but what? A friend of mine told me to add the line
./dhcpcd at the end, but that doesn't work. What line would I have to enter if
I wanted dhcpcd to run automatically at every boot?

In slackware you could just run netconfig
and tell it to use dhcp, which would make
the change for you ...

If you want to do it manually, have a closer
look at
/etc/rc.d/rc.inet1

;)

I probably should have mentioned this before, but I am such a newbie it's not even funny.

So (no offense intended) "take a closer look at stc/rc.d/rc.inet1" isn't very helpful. What does "a closer look mean? Also, netconfig doesn't work the way my cable ISP has everything set up, so I have to do it manually.

Edit it, and change the bit that says
DHCP=NO to YES :}
