Help with rpm installation

Hi,

Everytime I try to install something new in my red hat as an rpm package installation, the dependencies stop the installation.

What is the command line to overwrite the files that need to be installed or to simply update them ?

Thanks,

Roland

Let's see ...

man rpm
/update
n
n (pattern not found (press RETURN))
Hmm ... not what I was looking for
<Shft>+P
/upgrade
Aaaaah ... there we go :}

Cheers,
Tink
