Help with rpm installation
Hi,
Everytime I try to install something new in my red hat as an rpm package installation, the dependencies stop the installation. What is the command line to overwrite the files that need to be installed or to simply update them ? Thanks, Roland |
Let's see ...
man rpm /update n n (pattern not found (press RETURN)) Hmm ... not what I was looking for <Shft>+P /upgrade Aaaaah ... there we go :} Cheers, Tink |
thanks dude... that's why we're called newbies
:D |
yet... still the dependencies ... do not allow for the software to update the existing files in the computer
|
man rpm
/depend <CrsUp> There you are ;) Cheers, Tink |
And, all happy? :)
Cheers, Tink |
