Help with netconf setup

I have a D-link DSL router set-up with the following settings.

IP: NetMask DNS & (bellsouth dns)

Now for my problem. I can get to the net fine from both my linux machines when I have them set up for dhcp. But, my server running mandrake 8.1 cannot get to the internet when I set it up to use a static ip ( and yes all the ips are able to get out to the net. I know I have the configuration set up basically correct because I can get to the machine through telnet and webmin from all my other machines. Here is my set-up on networking.

DNS: & (also tried

Any suggestions? The internet works when i use dhcp just not when I statically assign an ip.

P.S. I do not have x11 installed on the server so I will be using command line only.

Type 'route' and check your routing table. Make sure these is a line that states:

default UG 0 0 0 eth0

got it working. Saw another thread about this same thing and I changed some of the lines in

more specifically the ../ifcfg-eth0

and now it works!
